Val held various roles whilst working for The Coca-Cola Company for 17 years. Her roles included 4 years as Managing Director of the Irish business, 9 years as Global Customer Director, managing the Foodservice business and subsequently the Petro-Retail channels globally. Her final role with Coca-Cola, was as Managing Director of Costa Coffee responsible for Central and Eastern Europe.
Val became a Global Ambassador for Vital Voices in 2019 and continues to play an active role. She is also involved in many pro-bono and charitable works including Social Entrepreneurs Ireland and has previously served as an INED on the Board of Cricket Ireland and Dublin Cemetery Trust (DCT/Glasnevin Cemetery).
Since leaving Coca-Cola in 2021, Val has launched her own business, Tilly, as a Business Trainer in Strategy, Leadership and Negotiations, as well as an Executive and Life coach.
Val has extensive General management experience gained from 35 years working within large multinational organisations. She gained expertise in Strategy development and implementation, as well as functional experience within commercial, sales and marketing teams. She has worked across multiple geographies, and can thus provide insights into diversity and culture, as well as for businesses in both developed and developing markets.
